The Snake keeps its own order. No.369 — 生路久 — is the archive's most deliberate number: growth, passage, permanence, each in sequence. Recorded in malachite green, the deepest colour in the archive.

Each edition is made to order, assigned a unique edition number that is never reissued, and — where requested — personalised with up to three initials embedded at production. Every edition is recorded in the CLAVIS archive at dispatch.
